Kerrville, Texas, offers plenty of opportunities to get active, meet new people, and try new things. If you enjoy playing sports, you’ll find some type of adult league you can participate in all year. Aquatics

When summer is in full swing and you need to cool down, you’ll find a variety of aquatic activities to help you do just that. The Dietert Center offers low-impact water aerobics classes for seniors every Tuesday and Thursday from May to August. If you’re interested in swimming laps at the Olympic Pool, adult lap swim is also available on Tuesday and Thursday from May to August. Plus, if you want to work on your swimming skills, you can sign up for private or semi-private swim lessons.

Adult Soccer

Grab your cleats and stretch your legs because Kerrville offers both summer and winter adult soccer leagues. The winter league is available for anyone 18 or older, although teenagers who are 16 and 17 years of age can play with a parent waiver. The first game for the winter league will be on January 7, 2020. If you’re interested in playing during the summer league, the registration deadline is May 25, 2020, and the first game is on June 9, 2020. Games will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Carver Park or Kerrville Sports Complex.

Adult Flag Football

In case you’re into hitting the field for a different type of football, check out the adult flag football league. This adult league has a spring and fall season. If you’d like to play in the spring league, you have to complete registration before February 22, 2020, and the season runs from February to March. Should you prefer to play in the fall season, the registration deadline is August 28, 2020, and the first game is September 4, 2020. Both seasons will have games on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Adult Kickball

That playground classic you loved to play as a kid is back with the adult kickball league. The league is open to anyone over the age of 18. Participants who are 16 or 17 years old can also play with a parent waiver. Games will be held Monday and Wednesday evenings at the Singing Wind Softball Fields, and the first game will be on July 15, 2020. If you’re interested in playing, sign up a squad on or before July 3, 2020.

Adult Volleyball

Start practicing your serves and spikes, because the adult volleyball league will begin this winter at the Kerrville Kroc Center. The season runs from December to February and holds games on Monday and Wednesday nights. The co-ed league is open to anyone over 16. If you decide to participate in this league, you’ll get a uniform shirt, have an opportunity to order a professional league photo, and enjoy an award ceremony at the end of the season.
