Trim Levels

There are two trim levels for the 2020 Chrysler Voyager. Both trims have a 19-gallon fuel tank and run on regular unleaded gasoline. The base trim is the Voyager L. The other trim is called the LX. Both vans use the same 3.6-liter V-6 engine that creates a healthy 287 horsepower. A nine-speed automatic transmission gives you control over these front-wheel-drive vehicles.

Space

As you climb inside these comfortable vehicles, you’ll notice seating for seven. The second- and third-row seats in the L are bench seats. In the LX, the third row remains a 60/40 split-bench seat, but the second row turns into bucket seats. All of the seats are cloth for comfort regardless of the temperature. There is also a power driver’s seat in the LX.

Adjust the seating to fit your storage needs. If you don’t need all seven seats, fold the third row into the floor to expand the cargo area. For even more storage space, add in the available second-row storage bins. The bins go in the floor just in front of the second-row seats. They are large enough to hold shoes, purses, and other items for safekeeping once you arrive at your destination. Keep snacks and other small items in the center console or locking the glove box for quick access.

Technology

The difference between the two Voyager trims shows up in the technology. Neither includes a CD player. There is a standard AM/FM radio in the L. SiriusXM is added to the LX. Drivers of the L, ask your front passengers to change the radio or change the music source. LX drivers have audio controls mounted to their steering wheel. Both trims support either Apple CarPlay or Android Auto devices.

If you are planning a long trip, consider adding the available DVD player into both vehicles. The DVD player stows in the roof when not in use. When you want to use, press the button and the screen drops down so all of your back-seat passengers can enjoy the movie.

Safety

The Voyager has many available safety features. Give yourself an additional pair of eyes when you are pulling out of a parking spot with the available rear cross-path detection system. If a vehicle or person is crossing behind you, an alarm will sound, giving you enough time to react. Take the hassle out of street parking with the available Parksense Rear Park Assist with stop. It alerts you if there is anything in your way as you maneuver into a tight spot.

Are your kids already trying to claim their spot in your next van? Bring the family with you as you visit us at Crenwelge Motors. We look forward to getting you into the perfect Voyager for your family.
