323 Bakery & 323 Gardens on The Loop

323 Bakery & 323 Gardens on The Loop is a great spot located at 323 TX-39 in Ingram. They open at 6:40AM on Wednesday through Saturday. On Wednesday and Thursday, they close at 3PM. On Friday and Saturday, they close at 3PM but then open again from 6PM until 9PM. They have a great staff, absolutely fabulous scones, and lots of gluten-free choices.

Try their cowboy biscuits, the spinach and feta pastry, and the amazing, drool-able cinnamon rolls. Their lemon lavender scones are also beloved by all of us, and after you eat, it’s a lot of fun to go explore all their pots, plants, and garden supplies to walk off a bit of that carbohydrate!

Shipley Donuts

This spot at 704 Junction Hwy #1 here in Kerrville has a huge array of donuts, both cake-style and yeasted, and also serves up delicious coffee and kolaches. They’re open from 5AM until 6PM every day, so there’s almost no time you can’t get yourself a donut and coffee.

Try their White Iced Bullseye donut and the maple iced, if you want our advice. We also can’t get enough of their lemon-filled donut or the creme-filled do-nut bar. Their sausage and cheese kolache is amazing, and even more so if you get the one with the jalapenos added to it!

Snowflake Donuts & Kolaches

You’ll find Snowflake at 1487 Junction Hwy, and they have great prices, lots of fruit and meat kolaches to choose from, and some of the kindest, fastest service you’ll ever be privileged to enjoy. They open at 5AM so you can grab your coffee and donut early, and they’re close at 1PM. Be aware they are closed on Mondays.

They do great donuts, but they also have lots of breakfast foods if you want something less sweet. Try their long johns and the cinnamon twists. Their filled donuts are all great, and they also have buttery, flakey croissants you’ll love.

Donut Palace

Donut Palace lives at 833 Sidney Baker St, and they open up at 5AM every day but Sunday, when they’re closed entirely. They close at 1PM. This place has a great selection and nice atmosphere, with personable staff and good prices.

Try their delicious ham and cheese croissant or the sausage, egg, and cheese. We’re also huge fans of their pineapple cream cheese sticks and the apple fritters. If you want something less sweet, you can get all kinds of pigs-in-a-blanket, including some with jalapenos.

These are all great spots to stop for baked goods. For a great spot to stop for a new or used vehicle, visit Crenwelge Motors at 301 Main St. And if you need service on your Jeep, RAM, or another quality vehicle, schedule service with us and take advantage of our convenient Express Lane!
