The 3rd Annual City of Ingram Christmas Parade

At the 3rd Annual City of Ingram Christmas Parade, you and your loved ones can enjoy live music, delicious hot cocoa, and a visit with Santa. It’s only about 15 minutes from Kerrville, and it will happen on December 7, 2019, at 5:30 p.m.

Make sure to preserve some great memories by taking a picture or a video as your children tell Santa what they would like most for Christmas. You can also follow the parade while you celebrate the season. It starts at 501 College Street in Ingram, and then it goes down Ingram Loop and across Highway 39. This fun parade finishes at Old Ingram Loop.

The Holiday Lighted Parade

There’s also a Holiday Lighted Parade in downtown Kerrville at 6 p.m. on November 23, 2019. Floats are welcome as long as they are lighted, so they can become a festive part of the holiday spirit. This year, Santa will trade his sleigh for a big, red fire truck. You can warm your hands around a mug of hot cocoa and have fun while participating in this Kerrville holiday tradition. For more details about the parade, contact the Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department at 830-257-7300.

The Symphony of the Hills

On December 5th, 2019, at 7:30 p.m., you and your family members can see In the Spirit of Christmas, an artistic, cheerful holiday concert. The symphony will take place in the Cailloux Theater, and there will be a wine reception in the festively decorated lobby at 6:30 p.m.

You can listen to a variety of holiday musical numbers, including “Jingle Bells Forever,” “March of the Toys,” “A Canadian Brass Christmas,” “Hanukkah Festival Overture,” selected movements from “Gloria” by Antonia Lucio Vivaldi, and “Many Moods of Christmas” Suite One. The Grand Symphony Chorus will sing with the orchestra, and you can enjoy many popular carols and hymns. Gene Dowdy is the conductor and director of The Symphony of the Hills for 2019.

A Texas Country Christmas

On December 14th at 7:30 p.m., Tony Booth and Darrell McCall will perform in A Texas Country Christmas. This concert is also at the Cailloux Theater, and it features famous country singers. Tony Booth’s greatest hits include “Lonesome 7-7023″ and The Key’s in the Mailbox.” Darrel McCall is popular for his Honky Tonk style and his film appearances in “Road to Nashville” and “Nashville Rebel.” He has also performed with many Nashville legends, including George Jones, Ray Price, and Faron Young.
