1. Scott Schreiner Municipal Golf Club

The oldest course in the area built in 1932, Scott Schreiner is a municipal 18-hole par 70 track that covers 6,453 yards from the tips. Located in Texas Hill Country, this course provides majestic views, with a very playable layout for a truly enjoyable experience. With 4 different tee boxes to choose from, you’ll enjoy this course no matter your handicap. Don’t forget to visit the clubhouse after your round for thirst-quenching beverages and snacks.

2. The Buckhorn Golf Course

The front 9 features rolling terrain, with the signature par-3, 6th hole over Oak Creek. The back 9 features a flatter layout, but many doglegs and water hazards that keep you on your toes.

4. Flying L Guest Ranch Golf Course

Majestic, towering oak trees will grab your attention at this fabulous resort course in Bandera. Their signature par-3, 7th hole has a green surrounded by water on 3 sides with a fantastic view of the mountains as a backdrop. Built in 1972 with Bermuda grass fairways and greens, the course prides itself on its fabulous conditions year-round. Prior to your round, enjoy warming up at the two-tiered driving range, and large chipping and putting range areas.

5. Resort Course at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort

A newly-renovated course, Tapatio Springs is a uniquely designed course amongst the rolling hills and oak trees. This 18-hole championship course designed by Tripp Davis is situated in a valley providing plenty of scenic hilly terrain, with water coming into play on half of the holes. With friendly staff, great service, and affordable rates, this truly is a “bucket-list” course.

6. Oak Valley Golf Course

If you don’t have time to play 18-holes or are looking for a place to bring your family, Oak Valley is a casual 9-hole course that provides great value. This unique par 3 layout features the only fully lighted golf course in the area, and it will test all aspects of your short game. Rental clubs are available here, with a nice driving range and practice greens to warm up.
