They are open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is $4 for military members with ID. Students pay $5, adults pay $7, while children 8 and under are free — so are museum members. The last Saturday of the month is Family Free Day for Kerr County residents. You can tour the location and enjoy different activities for free. During your visit, you'll enjoy several permanent and temporary exhibits. The permanent collection includes 150 sculptures and 250 paintings depicting different scenes in Western history. Introduce your children to the journey west in the Children's Gallery. They can use the Journey to the West interactive exhibit and follow a family as they make the journey. Beyond its regular pieces, the museum holds an annual roundup every year that brings together more than 40 artists at the same time.
