While the Grand Cherokee bears a striking resemblance to that of the previous model year, there are differences. It bears a black rectangular grille with chrome accents, LED headlights, and 17-inch wheels positioned for superior handling when compared to the previous year. Exterior options include 18, 19, and 20-inch wheel upgrades, a panoramic moonroof, and for the Trackhawk, black satin and liquid titanium chrome exterior finishes. The 2020 Grand Cherokee comes in seven trim levels, including the Laredo, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, Summit, SRT, and Trackhawk.
Engine
The 2020 Grand Cherokee bears one of five engines. Regular gas engines include a Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 generating 295 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, and a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 pounding out 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. The 3.0-liter Ecodiesel V-6, producing 240 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque, is the sole diesel engine.
